Springer® HYP are yeast peptones obtained from primary grown Saccharomyces cerevisiae selected yeasts through a specific enzymatic process.

Main characteristics:

Specific peptidic profile,
Totally soluble in water,
Animal-free, GMO-free, Kosher and Halal certified.

Applications:

Stimulate growth of cells and expression of proteins: dairy starter, probiotic bacteria, and recombinant bacteria;
Can be used in combination with other yeast products to replace animal origin peptone (meat, casein);
Typical concentration in media: 0.2-2 %.
