Bio Springer yeast extracts and peptones are available in various physical forms:
Powder at more than 94% dry matter produced by spray drying liquid yeast extracts and peptones. Yeast extract and peptones in powder is the most stable form.
Microgranulated powder: offers coarser particle sizes, less dust formation and hygroscopic, and faster dissolution properties;
Fine powder: especially suitable to blend with fine powder ingredients for media formulations.
Paste at dry matter between 60 to 80% produced by concentration under vacuum of liquid yeast extracts and peptones.
Yeast extract and peptones pastes tend to develop darker colouration and higher viscosity on storage.
Liquid yeast extracts and peptones at dry matter between 50 to 65%.
Liquid yeast extracts and peptones are easily pumpable and therefore especially suitable for large volume industrial uses.
