Our Research Center strives to continuously improve the range of products ensuring Biospringer provides state of the art products today and tomorrow.
20 scientists are dedicated to yeast extracts worldwide, working on applied projects and a trained panel for assessing our prototypes (Maisons-Alfort and Marcq-en-Baroeul in France; Laibin in China).

We rely on the support of the team of 500 Research & Delelopment experts from Lesaffre Corporate for projects related to strain improvement, specific analyses and certain advanced processes. Since its creation in 1965, R&D has been one of the strategic pillars of Lesaffre that has become a reference in producing, transforming and marketing all forms of yeast.
